Power Platform Developer

We at Viamagus are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Platform Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for leveraging Microsoft's Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to create innovative solutions that drive business productivity and efficiency. As a Power Platform Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy custom applications and automation workflows that meet the unique needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power Platform solutions.Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Power Apps canvas apps, model-driven apps, and Power Automate (flows) to automate business processes and streamline operations.Integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems and data sources using connectors, APIs, and custom connectors where necessary.Optimize performance and usability of Power Platform solutions by implementing best practices for application design, data modeling, and user experience.Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to coding standards.Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of the Power Platform ecosystem and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance our solutions.Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards for data privacy, security, and governance.

Must-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.Proficiency in Power Apps formula language (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate expressions, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) and third-party systems using APIs and connectors.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and agile development practices.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Good-to-Haves:

Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.Experience developing custom connectors, plug-ins, and extensions for the Power Platform.Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure SQL Database.Exposure to Syntex and Azure Cognitive Services.Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS for extending Power Platform capabilities.Experience with DevOps tools and practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).Create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.Previous experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or government, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).

Location: Remote but Bangalore based as an added advantage
