Back End Developer

On behalf of a global customer, we are looking for a Java Developer for a project to be worked on remotely.

Role: Java Developer that has experience with Kafka and Scala

Start date: 4 weeks from the offer date

Contract duration: 6+ months with possibility of extension

Working language: English

Location: Remote

Capacity: 5 days per week

Role Duties:

Someone that has wrote connectors themselves or even modified or contributed to Kafka or similar servicesSound understanding of cloud native architecture & development and cloud platformsPrior experience with Kafka, usage or even contributions.Excellent hands-on proficiency in: Java and Bash, preferably also in ScalaConfidence working within Unix / Linux shell environmentsIaaS experience with one of AWS, Azure, GCP, preferably experience with cloud object storage technologies such as S3
