SUMMARY The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for delivering key project initiatives as well as Global CRM delivery by customizing, developing, supporting, and integrating solutions using Salesforce and Lightning platform ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · This role will be a key point of contact in working closely with business and understanding the Business · Develop efficient scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning, LWC and UI designing (Html5, Java Script etc.) · Responsible for developing and managing the application through all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical design, implementation & support. · Contribute ideas, provide feedback and collaborate on projects within the team’s portfolio where salesforce application would be impacted. Be capable of recommending alternate choices and impact analysis.· Expected knowledge on the Service Cloud modules like, Service AI, Einstein bot, Milestones, Entitlements, CTI and Service module integration with external systems.· Expected knowledge on the Sales Cloud, with Lead Management, Forecasting, Territory Management. · Developing integration processes using Salesforce.com’s API, Streaming API’s (Platform Events, CDC, Push topics), Pub Sub Integration (like Kafka) and third-party integration tools (Apex Data Loader, any ETL tool). · Expected to quickly learn new features, technologies related to Salesforce and be able to implement & communicate effectively to the team · Stay abreast of the Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements based on features released Additional responsibilities: · Other duties may be assigned QUALIFICATIONS · Excellent analysis skills and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies · Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies. · Ability to follow an agile or iterative software development methodology · Must be highly motivated, a quick learner, to work independently or on a team and drive solutions with minimal supervision · Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills required · Have a “can do” attitude, great listening skills and effective delivery of technology solutions · Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience · 10+ years of professional IT experience required with demonstrated development and design experience with enterprise applications · 8+ years pf experience in Sales and Service cloud.· 6+ years experience in Force.com/Lightning, Visualforce and the Apex programming language · 3+ years experience in Salesforce.com configuration and customization · 2+ years experience in UI designing, should be strong in Html5, CSS, Java Script, CDC and platform events. · Must have experience with data migration · Solution experience in integrating with other systems would be a plus
