You will act as the lead for our global implementation of Salesforce (Sales and Service Clouds). You will define and enforce standards and serve as the expert developer. You will be responsible for communication and influence of IT, business, and vendor partners to ensure solutions provided optimize cost, quality, security, and meet the needs of the business. You will provide technical leadership to other developers and will provide expertise in development, integration, and best practices to deliver high quality solutions. Responsibilities Ownership of Salesforce global ecosystem, to include all instances, environments, integrations, and data storage/retention policies/processes. Lead solution design and development activities on complex projects, both cross functional and within the Salesforce product line. Lead end to end solution delivery of Salesforce projects to ensure the outcome meets the goals set forth but the business. Act as a technical lead and advocate for the optimization of Salesforce solutions. Apply best practices and design patterns of best-in-class applications on the Salesforce platform. Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data. Operate within the DevOps process, create roll back contingencies and manage applicable back-up solutions. Collaborate with data teams across the organization to utilize middleware tools and/or design effective data flows through APIs or otherwise. Instruct, direct, mentor, and monitor the technical work of those working on Salesforce projects. Seek information across the industry to understand new and related Salesforce technologies, sharing information with business stakeholders and IT to drive innovation, efficiency, and an improved customer/consumer experience. Support tasks such as troubleshooting issues and other ad-hoc requests. Participate in on-call support of Salesforce.
Required Skills & Experience Experience with Python, strong background with Python or Java development preferred Seven years software development, IT, or support experience working in Salesforce applications and solutions A minimum of five years of experience with Salesforce development (Lightning, SFDX, Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Salesforce.com API’s) Expert knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas Proficient knowledge of Salesforce product, architecture, patterns, and best practices Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-directed, works with limited management direction Bachelor’s Degree
