This role is in support of DXC/Luxoft's travel and transportation clients, supporting international carriers in the Americas. This role is a technical leader role for development of a new Cloud application using microservices architecture and in alignment with AWS capabilities and services. The successful candidate is someone with extensive C# .Net expertise who has proven skills in leading a team of developers, accurately transformation requirements into solutions, and building high quality, high performance .Net Core microservices.

ResponsibilitiesPart of a high-performance agile team developing Cloud Native -Microservices using .Net CoreHands-on service design, schema design and application integration designHands-on software development using C#, .Net CoreHands-on skills in transforming business requirements into technical designs and user stories, and development tasksUse of multiple Cloud native database platforms including DynamoDB, SQL, and othersHands-on application design for high availability and resiliencyHands-on problem resolution across a hybrid Cloud environmentConduct Code reviews and peer reviewsMentor development teamUnit test and Unit test automation, defect resolution and software optimization-Actively engaged with Client IT and Client Business during daily work sessionsCode deployment using CI/CD processesContribute to each step of the development process from ideation to implementation to release, including rapidly prototyping, running A/B tests, continuous Integration, Automated Testing and Continuous DeliveryUnderstand business requirements and technical limitationsAbility to learn new technologies and influence the team and leadership to constantly implement modern solutions

SkillsMust have12 to 20 years of hands-on Application design and development experience6 or more years in a technical leader capacity with hands on workExpert knowledge of C#, .NET, .NET CoreExpert knowledge of .Net design patternsProven ability to lead a local or remote team or developers and deliver resultsStrong experience with Microservices development in .NET Core using C#Strong experience creating RESTful services and APIsExperience with NoSQL database such as DynamoDBExperience with RDBMS databasesExperience in container-based development using DockerKnowledge of Code development and deployment using modern CI/CD tools such as Harness / GitHubMust have the desire and experience to automate and implement strong unit and service-level testsExcellent communication skills
