Lead .Net API / Integration Developer (Microservices, Ecommerce/Travel) Farnborough, or Remote (1 day in office per month)£65000 + 10% Bonus
Your new companyI’m working with one of the UK’s leading leisure/travel businesses who are undertaking a Digital Transformation process which includes the redevelopment of a number of core business systems. We’re looking for an experienced Senior or Lead API/Integration specialist with .Net skills to join their team, either hybrid in Farnborough or UK Remote (minimum 1 day in office per month).
Your new roleDuring the pandemic there is no doubt the question “when can we go on holiday again?” was one of the top 5 asked in the world. This company facilitates those trips and have seen unprecedented growth and demand now the doors to the world are open again.
Driving this growth they have hired a new IT Director who has restructured teams and is pushing the implementation of cloud across the business. The dev team is currently at 8 and will double this/next year so it’s a great and exciting time to be joining.
This is a Lead position, but is open to Senior Developers looking to step up as well providing you have mentored/led a team of 2-3 previously. You’ll lead the Integration strategy for the business, managing API’s and connecting data, applications and third parties. You’ll have excellent database management skills and will be able to effectively work across digital teams to instil software best practice.

What you'll need to succeedWe’re looking for a Back End .Net specialist with deep hands-on API/Integration experience;
Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer in technical integration, database management (SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB) or ManticoreDB), and API implementation.
We’d like strong familiarity cloud platforms, namely Microsoft Azure or AWS in an Agile environment.
Strong expertise and hands-on experience in various API types using .Net (Restful API and SOAP web services), API management platforms and API tools such as POSTMAN. Also experience with OpenAPI(Swagger) and implementing Microservices architecture
Ideally you’ll have worked on Ecommerce platforms or in the travel industry.
