Front-End Developer

6 month contract

ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications: Create and maintain user interfaces that are visually appealing, responsive, and efficient for both mobile and web platforms.Build reusable code and libraries for future use: Develop and document code that can be reused across various projects to improve efficiency and maintainability.Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code: Understand requirements from stakeholders and convert them into effective, user-friendly frontend solutions.Assist in developing and enhancing our frontend landing page and platform user interface: Contribute to the improvement and innovation of the company’s primary web interfaces.Collaborate with the development team to implement modern designs in our existing pages: Work closely with designers and other developers to update and refine existing web pages to meet current design standards.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the software: Engage in peer reviews and utilize testing and debugging practices to maintain high-quality code and application performance.Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously: Adapt to a dynamic work environment by effectively handling multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science2+ years' experience in frontend developmentFamiliarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologiesStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React for frontend developmentProven experience in designing modern user interfaces for SaaS platforms.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to existing infrastructure, enhancing and building upon our current offerings.Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Exceptional communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:A portfolio showcasing previous frontend work, particularly in the technology and cybersecurity sectors. Please provide a portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing your previous projects and code samples.Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.Familiarity with Python, enabling interactive work with our web server.
