Senior Shopify Developer

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer for one of our UK-based clients who is working with one of the biggest variety store chains from Europe, with almost 1000 shops worldwide.

Responsibilities:Design engaging and effective e-commerce stores (including PDPs, category, and marketing landing pages) based on direction from the business sideWorking closely with the Delivery Manager to understand the business requirements, project features, and functionsBeing involved in requirement definition, UX/UI, designs, and overall solution design]Empower the use of best practices across the team to ensure the solution is efficient, reliable, scalable, and reusableConducting peer reviews to ensure code quality, standards, and best practicesAble to manage workload and priorities to deliver quality code agreed-upon project milestonesWork collaboratively with 3rd parties to identify the best solution for integrating them into the whole ecosystemProduce clean, efficient code based on specifications

Skills:At least 5 years of experience as a Shopify Software Developer working on Shopify themes (Shopify 2.0) or Front-end development componentsDesirable experience of working with Shopify Plus and on international stores in a multistore and multi-language environment is considered a plusGood knowledge of PHP, Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS & JavaScript, Vue.jsExperience working with 3rd party services and APIs - specifical plugins for ShopifyExperience working with source control and GITAbility to write clean, readable code and testsDeep understanding of cross-browser/device/platform issues and code solutionsTeam player with the ability to work within a highly collaborative company and proven experience of working in an Agile environmentExcellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skillsAbility to effectively perform high-volume workloads with tight deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication in EnglishResourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude with high attention to detail
