Android Application Developer (Experience in University ERP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Android Application Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications that integrate with our UNIVERSITY'S ERP SYSTEM. The role requires a deep understanding of ERP functionalities and the ability to create seamless mobile experiences for students, faculty, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering such as Understand the specific needs of the university. This includes functionalities like Student management, Course registration, Faculty management, Exam scheduling, Grades management etc.Develop, test, and deploy Android applications that interface with the university's ERP system.Collaborate with business analysts, and other developers to gather and understand requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Maintain and enhance existing mobile applications with new features and optimizations.Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains competitive.Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills :

Skilled with UNIVERSTY ERP systems.Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.Experience with Android SDK, APIs, and frameworks.Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.Knowledge of DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM and MYSQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with university ERP ApplicationsExperience in PHPExperience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).Knowledge of cloud-based services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).Understanding of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
