ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a backend developer with a passion for crafting robust, high-performance server-side applications? Do you thrive on solving complex problems and creating seamless integrations? If so, we want you to join our innovative team!

As a Backend Developer at Low6, you’ll be at the heart of our technology, ensuring our applications run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will be crucial in developing and maintaining the server-side logic that powers our cutting-edge games. You will work closely with our talented frontend developers to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.

RESPONSIBILTIES

Design and develop new backend features on a highly scalable and self-healing platform.Research new technologies and participate in architectural decisions.Work in a test-driven development environment.Write code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mind.Perform functional requirements analysis.Write high-quality code and documentation.Work closely with other developers, QA, and product team members.Apply analytical skills and be committed to quality.Help track requests, issues, work progress, and other changes using our project management tools.Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.Manage code changes and perform code reviews.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMust have 4+ years of experience as a backend software engineer.Be proficient in TypeScript or Go.You have experience with distributed architectures.Proven track record of working with heavy transactional systems.You care about software quality and software engineering, and you want to make a difference.Good attention to detail.You can work with minimal supervision.You have a good command of both verbal and written English.
