Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js)

We are in search of a technically proficient, highly motivated, and self-driven Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js) to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will be working alongside other driven technologists to tackle some of the industry's most challenging issues. The team you will join works in close collaboration with our product and business partners to devise cloud-based technology solutions, aimed at transforming the customer loan experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, develop and document projects that interact with other internal and external systemsCollaborate with the team in recommending, evaluating and making technology decisionsDevelop high-quality, scalable, cloud-based, reliable, and reusable solutionsParticipate actively in a highly collaborative Agile/SCRUM environment, communicating across teams to ensure knowledge sharingParticipate in code and architecture reviews within and between teamsAdvocate for new technologies, architectures and processes that can enhance the quality of our deliverablesContribute to an environment and culture of integrity, trust, feedback, and continuous improvementUtilize the AWS ecosystem of services to develop and deliver business value

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines, preferred but not requiredAt least 3 years of relevant experience in Software DevelopmentDeep understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.jsExperience with react and affiliated front-end technologies (Redux, webpack)Experience in a microservice-oriented environmentServerless technology architecture, development, and delivery experience (preferably using AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EventBridge)NoSQL experience (preferably AWS DynamoDB)Cloud-based security experience (preferably AWS services such as AWS Cognito, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS GuardDuty)DevOps infrastructure-as-code experience (preferably AWS CDK, AWS SAM)Profound knowledge of common design patterns and principlesProfound knowledge of Git and common Git workflows (such as GitFlow)Profound knowledge of TDD and BDDExperience with CICD pipelinesExperience in working with feature flagsWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills, connecting directly and effectively with cross-functional team membersExperience with designing and developing complex, robust, and highly scalable production services and applications using modern frameworks, tools, and systemsA passion for learning, continuous improvement, sharing, and working in a team environment
