Requirements of the role: ✨

1 year experience developing API using Node.js, Express (This is a junior level role)Improving performance, scalability, and availability of backend systemsTroubleshooting and addressing potential issues proactivelyCollaborating with co-developers and cross-functional teams for efficient resultsSending regular updates on project status to stakeholdersEvaluating and prioritizing tasks based on resolution priority and company goals

A Typical Week in the Life: 🌈

Developing and maintaining the core API stack using chosen programming languages (e.g., Node.js)Proactively identifying and resolving infrastructure bottlenecks to scale core servicesDeveloping APIs consumed by apps and web frontendsTaking ownership of features at both product and technical levels, collaborating with engineers and designersParticipating in feature specifications and working closely with colleagues across the companyContributing to code deployment, tackling complex tasks, and building new features

We'd be delighted if you have: 😍

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or relevant field1 year of experience with coding API in Node JS/ Express JS Experience with dealing with complex RESTful APIExperience with databases like Firebase and PostgreSQL Experience with middleware, async and sync API calls, cloud based queue, storage is a plusGood understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Github.Experience with software code tools like GitFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)Experience with DevOps tools like Docker is a plus
