About The Team

Enterprise API team is an Integral part of the Merchant Solutions-Worldpay landscape. Team is working on APIs related to the merchant solutions, primarily team owns APIs related to Merchant boarding, Servicing, Reporting, Events & VAS etc.

What You Will Be Doing

The Software Developer will be responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software; support existing products and business applicationsWorking with the team lead to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutionsResponsible for designing and documenting technical requirements for products and business applicationsWork closely with the other Development and QA team membersAdhere to SDLC and Development processes, coding standards and best practicesWorks on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factorsTroubleshoot various products and business applications already in production as neededParticipate in communities of practice by contributing to and following standards, reviewing others code, and sharing knowledgeAttend overnight releases when neededAchieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable, and testable codeNetworks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. The Software Developer will be responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software; support existing products and business applicationsMaintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance of audit & security requirementsEnsure solutions meet business needs and requirements by delivering the required product drop

What You Bring

Required Skillset~

4+ years of experience in Software development methodologies and best practicesExperience in building web services in SOAP and/or REST using Java, Spring/Spring Boot frameworkHands-on experience with a cloud platform such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry or AWS, or container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesStrong experience working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology is essentialSolid experience with Git, GitHub and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Sona type Nexus repositoryFluent in complex SQL and experienced in DB2, Oracle or SQL server preferredGood experience on data streaming (ex. Kafka). data messaging and event driven systemsExperience with modern agile software delivery practices such as scrum, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), TDD, and BDD, DevOps, and automationStrong problem-solving skills
