Actively seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our remote team. Candidate must possess AWS proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

As our Product Engineer, you are responsible for designing and constructing software solutions that are easily scalable and maintainable. Proficiency across various technology areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language, in addition to Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure is expected. The role mandates collaboration with a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and devise solutionsCreation and implementation of scalable and maintainable software solutionsGeneration and maintenance of code employing clean coding principlesExecution of code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standardsEstablishment and maintenance of automated tests to ensure the quality of deliverablesActive involvement in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremoniesGuarantee of timely and quality code deliveryDocumentation of code and system architectureActive participation in system design and architecture debatesOffering technical support and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related fieldA minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with an emphasis on JavaPrior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Competency in Data Structures and AlgorithmsPrevious experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go LanguageProficiency in both SQL and NoSQL tools and APIs and IntegrationFamiliarity with CI/CD processes and toolsProficiency in Spring and Java Microservice InfrastructureStrong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving skillsFluent English speakers at the Upper-Intermediate level or higher with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

Prior experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and SparkFamiliarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
