Pega Engineer @ (Chicago, IL) - C2C/W2

We are looking for an experienced Pega Engineer for a project till the end the year. This is a remote role, but if you were able to be a hybrid in the Chicago North suburbs 3 days a week/travel occasionally, that would be an advantage. We need someone with solid experience in Pega applications, Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) and Pega Diagnostic Center (PDC). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-level Pega applications • Develop BPM applications, integrate web services, design data models and frameworks • Understand business needs and design scalable applications to improve process management. • Design class structures, application frameworks, and data models. • Integrate databases, legacy systems, web services, and third-party systems. • Design and develop custom user interfaces using Pega UI components • Troubleshoot and debug application issues and bottlenecks • Monitor the performance and availability of Pega applications • Conduct application functional and performance tests. • Maintain the security of Pega applications.Requirements:• 5+ years developing, managing, and supporting Pega applications • Hand on analysis, solution design, configuration and development activities using Pega. • Strong understanding of the PRPC Architecture and PRPC design and implementation • Strong knowledge of Pega Application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, and other Pega platform tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills. • Insurance industry a plusThank you,
