Job Summary

Oceans Code Experts is seeking a talented Java Developer for the DS-104 position. This role offers a collaborative professional environment, filled with both rewarding experiences and challenges. The Java Developer will work on multiple projects with a cross-functional team and ensure transparent communication with clients about project progress.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Triage and remediate a backlog of medium and low-severity vulnerabilities identified using CheckMarx in the client's applications by the end of the year.Work on multiple projects and collaborate with a cross-functional team.Maintain transparent communication about time and tasks to help clients understand project progress.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken).6+ years of experience as a Java Developer.Impeccable punctuality (flexible schedules but timely meeting attendance is crucial).Proficiency in Java, AWS, and Spring.Experience with remediating vulnerabilities using a code scanning tool like CheckMarx.

NICE TO HAVE

GitHub experience.DevSecOps experience or a security mindset.Ability to influence and communicate effectively with team members and business partners at a senior engineer level.Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices.Ability to work independently.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
