Position: Scala DeveloperLocation: Remote PositionType: Long-term ContractLocal to Canada Candidates only.

Must-Have Qualifications:7+ years of experience in designing, developing, installing, and supporting enterprise-quality applications.3+ years of Scala backend API development experience.5+ years of JVM-based application development experience.Experience working in Scala frameworks such as Cats, Zio, Akka, etc.5+ years of hands-on development experience with AWS Cloud environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent collaboration skills.Responsibilities:Code and support applications using Scala.Deploy applications on AWS-based ecosystems.Design, develop, install, and support enterprise-quality applications.Participate in on-call support groups.Collaborate with team members across multiple time zones and teams within the organization.Take end-to-end ownership of the application.Please Note:No big data profiles.Core Scala coding experience is essential.
