We are currently looking for a talented Tech Lead / Senior Backend Developer on behalf of one of our major clients in the fintech sector.

Seniority: at least 5 years of proven experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.

The Client about the Role:“As a Tech Lead / Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product portfolio. Your expertise will guide the technical direction of our stack, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technology and security standards. You will work closely with the Product Owner to align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring a seamless integration of new technologies and features.”

Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Drive the evolution of our tech stack, making strategic decisions to adopt new technologies that enhance our product offerings.Collaboration: Work in tandem with the Product Owner to validate and refine technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.Development and Integration: Lead the backend development efforts, focusing on integration with various partners and suppliers. Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver well-structured and efficient APIs.Standards and Security: Ensure our technical solutions adhere to the latest security protocols and integration specifications, maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.Customer and Partner Engagement: Participate in meetings with customers and partners to gather insights and understand requirements, translating them into technical solutions.Role Development: Shape your role according to your strengths and interests, contributing to the continuous improvement of our product portfolio.

Who You Are:Experienced Developer: You have at least 5 years of proven experience in backend development with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.Technical Proficiency: You are well-versed in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, and have a solid background in test automation, including unit and integration testing against external APIs.Strategic Thinker: You are self-driven and proactive, with a strong desire to contribute to the standardization and optimization of our technical solutions.Team Player: You have excellent communication skills, enjoy collaborating with others, and are always willing to lend a helping hand or ask for assistance when needed.
