Lead Web Developer (Remote)

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-stack developer for the Lead Developer role. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our development efforts and working on client projects. If you show strong leadership skills you will eventually have a rare opportunity to get promoted to lead the services division. This is a remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the development of in-house projects and client assignments from conception to completion. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. • Develop high-quality code that is maintainable and scalable. • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. • Mentor and guide junior developers.

Requirements: • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in WordPress and Laravel. • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and backend development with PHP. • Knowledge of Shopify theme customizations is an added advantage • Extensive experience with WooCommerce, capable of building complete e-commerce websites, including payment gateway integration and custom functionality development. • Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL. • Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON. • Proficient in using Git for version control. • Skilled in responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • Strong communication skills. • Knowledge of ChatGPT and OpenAI API is an added advantage • Minimum 5 years work experience as a web developer • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
