We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team for a 5-month part-time volunteer position (8 hours per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the backend services that power our hair app. This includes database management, API development, and ensuring the overall performance and security of our backend infrastructure. Kindly note that this role is volunteer and without pay.Responsibilities: 📌 Design and implement server-side logic, database schemas, and APIs. 📌 Develop and manage the backend infrastructure for AR and image processing features. 📌 Implement e-commerce functionalities including product management, order processing, and payment integration. 📌 Collaborate with the Mobile App Developer to integrate frontend and backend components. 📌 Optimize application performance and scalability. 📌 Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations. 📌 Troubleshoot and debug backend issues as they arise. Qualifications: 📌 Proficiency in backend languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby. 📌 Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL or MongoDB. 📌 Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. 📌 Experience with image processing and handling AR data. 📌 Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration. 📌 Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms. 📌 Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus. 📌 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Volunteer 7-9 hours per week for 3-5 weeks remotely 💻
