Role SummaryAs a Full Stack UI Developer at Sophos, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our cybersecurity products and services. Leveraging your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive, high-performance web applications that enhance the user experience and drive customer satisfaction.

What you will doCollaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to translate product requirements and user stories into elegant and functional user interfacesDesign and develop responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or ReactImplement scalable, secure, and maintainable back-end services using technologies such as Python, or JavaIntegrate front-end and back-end components to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality and data flowOptimize application performance and user experience through efficient UI rendering, caching strategies, and server-side optimizationsConduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development teamStay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full stack development, and share insights with the team

What you will bringBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)4-6 years of experience in full stack web development, with a strong proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, and back-end technologies such as Python, or JavaSolid understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScriptExperience with database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQLFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
