ECS is seeking an Atlassian Administrator/Solution Developer-Sr to work remote.
Job Description:
Capable of independently applying a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, automation, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures. Analyze available technologies for recommendations for applicable use and best practices. Track and manage system performance and identify ways to optimize performance. Research and identify new tools that can improve the overall system and services. Provide advanced configuration of the Atlassian suite of tools. Analyze, research, manage, and implement integrated Atlassian tools, plugins, and applications. Build reports to provide deeper insights into the capabilities of the tool suite. Development of script/web apps to extend functionality of the system. Help define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced. Translate business requirements to technical specifications. Adherence to best practice standards.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Required Skills:
US Citizen. Ability to gain DHS Public Trust clearance. A degree in an appropriate field (Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Math) or 4 years of relevant experience. 7+ years experience in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems, application, or operating system software. 5+ years experience with Atlassian Administration. 2+ years experience with Solution Development. Knowledge of Agile principles and applied best practices. Experience with Java and Groovy scripting. Hands-on experience using REST APIs.
Desired Skills:
Experience in working in an Agile development environment. Working knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, PHP). Working knowledge of SQL. Experience consulting in a Federal agency, especially within DHS.
