Golang Developer

I am working with a major challenger bank that is in the process of kick starting 2024 with exciting projects and is looking for a Go specialist to support the business road map. This contract initially is for 6 months but has scope for several extensions due to the great investment placed within this project.For this role, we are looking for a Software Engineer who can work collaboratively as well as autonomously across the following tech stack and tasks:- Develop high-performance and scalable software solutions using Golang.- Own end-to-end feature development, from requirements to deployment.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.- Work with DevOps and QA teams for seamless integration. Requirements:- Proven Golang development experience.- Microservices architecture and RESTful API understanding.- Cloud (AWS/GCP) experience.- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills. Nice to Have:- Fintech or financial industry experience.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
