Junior WordPress Developer

As a Junior WordPress Developer at GB Software Technologies, you will play a key role in developing, customising, and maintaining WordPress websites for our diverse client base. You will work alongside experienced developers and designers, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge web technologies and contributing to projects that have a real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites and plugins.Customize themes to meet client requirements.Implement responsive design to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.Optimize websites for speed and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.Collaborate with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

Basic understanding of WordPress development.Proficiency in Elementor page builder.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with PHP and MySQL is a plus.Ability to customize WordPress themes and plugins.Understanding of responsive design principles.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with version control systems like Git.Familiarity with SEO best practices.Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.Experience with RESTful APIs and AJAX.Previous experience in a web development role, either through internships, freelance projects, or personal projects.
