Senior Back End Developer

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Typescript, Node, and PostgreSQL- Experience in design documents and estimates.- Understanding of vector databases, RAG tooling and other LLM API's- 5+ years of work experience using Node.js to architect and create APIs using REST and/or GraphQL- Familiar with Agile Development- 5+ years of work experience and proficiency in building web applications- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, from conception to deployment- Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. Javascript, C#, PHP)- Knowledge of database architecture and implementation- 4+ years of work experience with relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MSSQL, MySQL)- Experience working with project management tools (e.g. Monday, Jira)- Familiarity with front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular)

• Work alongside a team of seasoned engineers, contributing to the React front end, API layer, and PostgreSQL & Node.js backend- Be a real engineer on a fast growing team, you will be valued as an early employee at Xenia- Design and write scalable, resilient, maintainable and extensible code with automated tests.- Become exposed to a microservice architecture within an AWS ecosystem, and learn about AWS tooling- Coordinate with Technical Leads on all activities and deliverables- Contribute to design, implementation, and documentation of new and existing features- Work with other developers, preparing and documenting pull requests, performing and receiving code reviews- Architect, develop, and manage well-functioning databases and applications- Collaborate with Designers and Front-End Developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
