Position Overview:LawDepot.com is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Analyst. Working with the Information Systems team, you will play a vital role in advancing our QA automation framework. We are looking for a dynamic team member who is proactive and passionate about ensuring software quality. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:Contribute to the company's success by creating automation tests and scripts that enhance overall operational efficiencyAnalyze website components to identify optimal candidates for efficient automated testingRefine software requirements to develop a comprehensive set of automation testsCreate, develop, and verify automation tests/scripts Initiate and conduct PR (pull request) reviews, rigorously testing changes to ensure code qualityAnalyze the results of daily automation test executions, promptly creating detailed bug reports, and notifying stakeholders of identified issuesMaintain the existing automation framework by creating, updating, deleting, and fixing tests as neededSeamlessly integrate automation tests into Azure DevOps, enhancing the overall efficiency of our testing processesGenerate innovative QA automation ideas by identifying and implementing process improvements and automation solutions with clear explanations for effective resultsMentor junior QA automation team members, providing support as needed, and advocate for quality assurance standards throughout all testing phases
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Post-secondary education in Computing Science, Information Systems Technology, or a related field2+ years of experience in a QA automation role or other relevant work experience is preferredFoundational proficiency in C#, SQL, GitProficiency in UI tests using Selenium Webdriver (Familiarity with Selenoid and Xpath/CSS is a plus)Must possess knowledge and hands-on experience in utilizing test design techniquesExperience with API tests: C# HttpClient, Swagger, Postman/FiddlerExperience using Azure DevOps, NUnit, Docker, and Docker-ComposeAbility to plan and prioritize work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisionsAbility to write detailed defect reportsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) would be considered an asset
