Senior NodeJS Developer

Infosys is seeking a Senior Node.js DeveloperAs a Senior Node.js Developer, you will perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions as well as define technical requirements for assignments of intermediate complexity. You will be required to participate with the team to perform analysis, assessment and resolution for defects and incidents of intermediate complexity and escalate appropriately. You will be responsible to work within guidelines set by team to independently tackle well-scoped problems and seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of relevant Information Technology experienceU.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor currently.Location for this position is Hartford,CT. This position may require travel to project/client location.

Preferred Qualifications:At least 6 years of Experience in Node.js API development, Mongo DBProficiency in RESTful APIs and API CommunicationsGood Grasp of Asynchronous Programming and Its WorkaroundsExperience with database scheme creation for business processesGood Knowledge of Node.js Frameworks.Knowledge in async/ await, understanding of resolving promise arraysExperience working on CI/ CD pipelineExperience in Unit Testing FrameworkPractical work experience with a cloud-based platformExperience using continuous deployment / continuous integration (CI / CD) technology.Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternativesWorking in an agile environment- with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologiesExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentAbility to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
