Senior WordPress Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior WordPress Developer with a strong focus on front-end development and proficiency in modern WordPress to join our team.As a Senior WordPress Developer at LendEDU, you will work directly with the CTO, product team lead, and designers to build new features and maintain existing code on WordPress based websites. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, including developing new comparison tools, improving the user experience, and building integrations with financial institutions.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain WordPress based websites and applications.Collaborate with the product team and designers to build new features and improve the user experience.Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code using modern software development practices.Ensure the performance and quality of applications.Identify and troubleshoot any bugs and issues in the codebase.Manage and maintain code repositories using Git and work in a team environment.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Gutenberg development.Contribute to the development of new comparison tools and features for financial products and services.Work on projects to improve the user experience and conversion rates on LendEDU's website.

Requirements:3+ years of experience in Full-stack development, with a strong focus on modern WordPress (Gutenberg Block Editor) development.Proficiency in Sass, Webpack, Git, and Docker.Proficiency in Bootstrap (CSS framework).Experience with Playwright (Testing suite).Experience with Bootstrap and other front-end frameworks.Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, well-designed, and efficient code.Passion for web development and staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.Interest in financial technology and consumer finance.
