Job Role: Appian Developer - Fraud Detection Services

Location: Remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Summary:

This role will develop Appian solutions. This will include:

Design Appian based solutions to meet business requirements.Develop complex process models in AppianDevelop user interface screens using reusable componentsIntegrate with other applications using Appian connected systems, web-api and integration objects.Develop Appian plugins using JavaIntegrate Appian applications with relational and NOSQL databasesAbility to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environmentDevelop outbound Rest APIs hosted in AppianDevelop integration objects to call external SOAP and REST APIsRead/write documents to Appian content managementUse existing Appian plugins to implement functionality such as send e-mail, create or manipulate pdf documents, trigger sftp tasks, read and write from files etc.Create and deploy build packages in Appian

Required skills/Level of Experience:

Certified Level 1 Appian Developer2+ years of recent hands-on development experience with Appian including user interfaces, sites, portals, complex process models, dashboards, web apis, connected systems, integration objects, dashboards, custom data types etc.1+ year of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.2+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.1+ years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST Web Service.Experience working with architects and business analysts to understand business requirements.Experience developing Appian PluginExperience with json and integrating with NOSQL databasesThis is a full-time contract position. The candidate cannot work on any other IT or consulting work while being employed in this position, even on their own time, in order to avoid conflict of interest.

Nice to have skills:

Certified Level 2 Appian Developer2+ years of recent work experience on a software development project in a Federal government setting.Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.Excellent analytical and technical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork and facilitation
