Job Description:

Current Oxford client is in the process of transitioning from Discoverer to Orbit Analytics and is seeking assistance with their development efforts. They have had challenges with their previous approach and need resources with Orbit Analytics expertise, or someone with extensive reporting off Oracle EBS modules and conversion of Discoverer reporting, and able to ramp up quickly on the environment and execute. The client has paired down their reporting requirements to roughly 1,000 reports, predominantly focused on Finance (AP, AR, Invoicing) and Manufacturing.

These candidates must have a strong understanding of Oracle EBS, specifically Finance and Manufacturing reports. Their preference would be to bring in senior-level candidates with extensive Orbit Analytics, but open to candidates who have converted Discoverer reports from an Oracle EBS environment. Their reports are governed by some of their data models, so they need candidates with backend data modeling experience in addition to expertise in report development.

These candidates will:

Convert ~1100 Discoverer reports to Orbit Analytics reports. They have an example report that is currently running, but the reports are mainly Financial in nature (GL, AP, AR); they also have Manufacturing reports to convert.Establish governance around Orbit Analytics (technical setup, compliance management, access management, application change controls, report change management, help and support structure.)Define Discoverer report disposition strategy:Clean up unused reports, rationalize reports, map Discoverer custom report to Orbit seeded report, and coordinate dashboard progress monitoring with the Discoverer Support Team. Define the client s current state and target state.

Expert report writer (Orbit Analytics preferred, but not required)Financial or Manufacturing report experienceOracle Database, strong with Structured Query LanguageOracle EBS (Orbit Analytics would be a trade-off if the candidate has not been in an Oracle EBS environment) Experience migrating Discoverer to Orbit Analytics or another enterprise reporting toolExcellent communication skills
