Job descriptioniTalent Digital is seeking a Java Developer, Microservices to join our dynamic team of professional consultants. This is an exciting role and the individual selected will help our leading retail client reach their strategic initiatives.

As a Java Developer, Microservices, you will bring a breadth of experience and become a valuable contributing member of the project team, not just a task driver and status provider. This is an exciting area of the company delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Required qualifications and skillsStrong design, coding, unit testing and troubleshooting skillsHands on experience building applications with SpringBoot - Hibernate/JPA, SpringBatch, Kafka, Redis cache management, Guava/in memory cachingAbility to analyze Performance issues and recommend/implement code fixesExperience in api design, understand microservices CI/CDExperience in application security – token management, Multi factor authentication

Preferred qualifications and skills5 years hands on experience building applications at scaleExperience implementing Product Catalog, Cart/Checkout, and other retail modules on CommerceTools a plusExperience with Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service a plus

EducationBachelor's Degree
