Senior Groovy Developer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Groovy Developer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:As a Senior Groovy Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working for Ciklum in international financial services projects.

Responsibilities:Experience with building cloud-native applications in AWS (5+ years)Utilise Groovy’s dynamic capabilities to write concise and expressive code (3+ years)Experience using build automation tools like Gradle or similar for describing builds, managing dependencies and packaging applicationsExperience with using full-stack frameworks like Micronaut or similar for building modular, easily testable microservice applicationsExperience with Groovy Console/VisualVM or similar instruments for quick scripting and experimentation, debugging, and profiling applications to identify performance bottlenecksPackage and deploy applications using Docker in Kubernetes infrastructureWrite highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC using high coding standards and software best practicesUtilise testing frameworks like Spock or similar for testing and specificationDevelop product, deliver features and updates according to the product roadmapDevelop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solutionParticipate in the team activities according to the methodology – daily meetings, planning, retrospectives etc)Сoach/supervise middle/junior engineers by demand of the project
