Senior Java Kubernetes Developer (16339)

Baer is looking for Senior Java Kubernetes Developer for a 6-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Senior Java Kubernetes Developer

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: All-inclusive

Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Responsibilities

Develop web application front ends using Angular JS. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces. Ensure the responsiveness and performance of the front-end applications. Develop and maintain back-end microservices using Java Spring Boot. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes. Integrate with Oracle databases and manage SQL queries and transactions. Write Java programs that read/write to Kafka (Confluent Kafka) and configure Kafka Connectors. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.

Required Experience

3-5 years of experience in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies. 3-5 years of experience with Java Spring Boot for developing microservices. 3-5 years of experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes. Proficiency in Angular JS and JavaScript. Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Oracle, and SQL. Experience with Confluent Kafka and configuring Kafka Connectors. Proficiency in working with Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
