Golang Backend Developer

Position - Golang (Go) Backend DeveloperExperience - 5+ years

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Golang.Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless integration between front-end and back-end functionalities.Design and implement database schemas and ensure data integrity and performance.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and reliability.Implement and manage cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.).Monitor and debug production issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services.Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Proven experience as a backend developer, specifically with Golang.Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and in-memory databases.Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with GraphQL.Understanding of security best practices in software development.Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
