Lead Cloud Platform Developer

Description

We are currently seeking a remote Lead Cloud Platform Developer to guide our team in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our AWS-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in Amazon Web Services, particularly CloudFormation, CloudWatch, EMR, and CodeDeploy.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of systemsDevelop and maintain system documentationIdentify areas for continuous improvement and implement solutions to optimize system performanceManage and lead a team of developers

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field5+ years of experience in AWS-based infrastructure development and support1+ years of relevant leadership experienceAdvanced knowledge of CloudFormation, CloudWatch, EMR, and CodeDeployExpertise in AWS IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, and Dynamo DBStrong experience with Jenkins, Docker, and KubernetesExcellent communication skillsB2+ English level proficiency

Nice to have

Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, OpsGenie, MongoDB, RDBMs, Kafka, and ELKGood understanding of agile software development methodologies
