Strategies for optimizing contentProactively approaches promoting company website with online marketing strategies.Utilizes data analysis to drive informed decisions (e.g. MySQL, Google Analytics).Ensures version control and foundational knowledge of content creation.Maintains awareness of market trends, emerging technology, and best practices in WordPress development to provide innovative solutions for online presence.
Developing and maintaining WordPress website for BusPatrol.comSEO optimization for images, content, and website performance.Collaborates with product design and marketing teams to implement website design and functionality.Writes and optimizes clean, efficient, and scalable code.Develops user experience and interaction design with back-end integration.Troubleshoots and debugs issues that arise during development.Maintains company website, including website updates, and security improvements, performed on a regular basis.Maintain consistency across platforms and browsers by understanding CSS changes and their ramifications.
What you bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience building and maintaining WordPress CMS websites.Proven track record of SEO techniques to drive traffic to websites.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Solid understanding of PHP and MySQL/SQL.Familiarity with WordPress command-line interface (WP-CLI) as well as WordPress themes, plugin development, and customization.A solid understanding of website security measurements and app integrations (e.g. iCIMS).Web accessibility experience that meets WCAG 2.2 level AA compliance.Experience using relative design tools to enhance website user interface (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, etc.).Experience using Gutenberg editor, widget management, and full site editing is a plus.*Portfolio is required
