Requirements

To make simple things easy and complex things possible, besides learning together, we need some starting points listed below. All topics serve the purpose of starting a good conversation. We are extremely interested in your potential.

Required

Experience with Java, Kotlin or Scala. (new microservices are being created in Kotlin but we have some microservices in Java).Knowledge of Spring Framework and its ecosystem.Experience with distributed systems and architectures.Experience with tools for production deployment like Docker, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, etc.Experience with event processing or message queues with Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS (we use Kafka quite a bit).Usage of CI/CD principles for fast and continuous delivery of value to customers.Experience developing features/products actively participating from conception to code delivery into production.Mastering Git as version control system.Having knowledge and creativity to create robust solutions for complex problems.Experience with observability practices (Logging Metrics Tracing) within Microservices Architecture.Experience with SQL and common NoSQL databases like Oracle, Postgres, Mongodb.Experience on projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP etc).Good understanding and communication skills in English with professional level.Experience mentoring other developers.Able to lead troubleshooting sessions during critical incidents, document appropriately, and conduct postmortem sessions.Having good vocabulary concepts of software engineering and computer science.Experience analyzing code adherence common security standards within software industry standards.Experience designing high availability APIs.Experience in the preparation Architectural documentation and express complexity through effective use of Diagrams in RFCs, ADRs, Microservice Canvas, and any other tech documentation.

Desirable

Open minded to new challenges, for instance, learning new languages, frameworks and technology stacks.Experience in Reactive Systems Programming;Experience in Machine Learning;Some level of experience deploying products or working with cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
