Job Title: Senior Front End Developer

We are seeking programmers with a keen eye for design for the position of Front End Developer for one of our staffing clients. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement game functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and a quality product are essential.

Front End Developers are required to work in teams alongside Full Stack Developers, Graphic Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

They build mobile and metaverse casino games that deliver the feeling of Vegas from anywhere in the world. A strong experience with Typescript, React, and PWA development is an absolute necessity. Extensive experience with back-end development is not needed, but being comfortable with JavaScript, WebSocket, and RESTful Web service are qualities that would contribute to success on our development team.

ResponsibilitiesYour duties as Front End Developer will include, but are not limited to, the following:Implement game functionality as per communicated designTranslate design specification into functional gameCommunicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media assetsDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codeEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problemsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationOther duties as assigned.

SkillsExperience with building responsive web applications and PWAs with delightful user experiencesFamiliarity with level design and planningExperience with mobile, PC, or console game development is a plusExperience optimizing memory and space usage for support of older hardwareAbility to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving game standards and development technologiesStrong understanding of object-oriented programmingFamiliarity with current design and architectural patternsKnack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable codeExperience implementing automated testing platforms and unit testsProficient knowledge of code versioning tools and GitHubWebSocket API and/or RESTful Web service experience is a must
