What we’re looking for:

We are looking for Shopify developers who are comfortable programming on the Shopify platform with experience using Headless Shopify Hydrogen & Remix . They should have development experience, in-depth understanding, and distinct perspectives of all things to specialize in all the Shopify projects.The chosen candidate should be able to create a bespoke development using the existing Shopify templates. Besides that, they must also know how to convert mock-ups and specifications into complete functional solutions.

He/she must also know how to update and modify the existing websites to enhance the UX/UI design or add new features. They must also know how to test and develop 3rd-party Shopify apps and customize and create Shopify accounts.

Responsibilities:

Build an interactive, engaging, competent Shopify store to boost sales and increase revenueDesign customizable Shopify themes and alter existing templates according to established benchmarksExpertly manage and oversee all aspects of the eCommerce forumClosely collaborate with UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design teams to build strong, unique, and state-of-the-art user experiencesDevelop seamless connections with platform APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), marketing tools, and Shopify apps to optimize the store for peak efficiency and functionalityEnhance store performance by regularly testing and debugging the websiteProvide adequate technical support and quality assurance to keep the Shopify store running seamlesslyBoost conversions by properly optimizing the website

Qualifications:

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an associated fieldYou have an expert-level understanding of Shopify’s Admin System, including shop creation, launch, and managementYou have an expert-level understanding of Headless Shopify Hydrogen & RemixYou are proficient in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and DOMYou have experience in deploying applications in Vercel.You have adequate knowledge of “Liquid” for Shopify Themes and Shopify StoresYou have proven experience working with Shopify’s storefront APIs and custom themesYou possess prior experience working with third-party Shopify apps, including implementation and debuggingYou have an in-depth understanding and expertise in jQuery, vanilla JavaScript, ES2015/ES6, and other trending JS frameworksYou have a working knowledge of AJAX API, Meta fields, and other objects/properties within ShopifyUsing a browser console and other similar tools, you possess the top-notch ability to test and debug websites, specifically online storesYou have proven experience building responsive layouts for mobile and webYou understand various Shopify plugins as well as different third-party services and APIsYou have an excellent working knowledge of other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, and BigCommerce would be preferredYou have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesYou possess excellent communication skills that facilitate interaction with multiple stakeholdersYou are confident, detail-oriented, and highly motivated to contribute to a high-performing teamYou have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills required.Fluent English speaker (important)
