Frontend Developer (Angular)

Turkey R&D Center is the second largest R&D investment of Huawei located outside of China. In Huawei Turkey R&D Center, we are a dedicated team who are determined to do what it takes to be world-class and we’re looking for like-minded people to join our adventure.

We are looking forward to meet with professional developers who will become an integral part of our agile development team and would will play a key role in development of our software solution on Huawei Cloud.

The Profile

Must have a Computer Science degree (or equivalent) and have a keen interest in emerging technologies.Have 4+ years of extensive experience in JavaScript development preferably in a Cloud based projects.Must have 2+ years experiences in map technology - Openlayers, leaflet , cesium, coordinate transformation …Has knowledge about general GIS concepts and methodsPrior experience in Angular 2+Solid understanding of front-end web technology stack HTML, CSS(CSS Preprocessors, BEM), session management and http headers is highly desirableGood level of knowledge on JavaScript ecosystem, libraries, and tooling (ES6/7)Able to use modern front-end tools (WebPack, Gulp, Babel, Vite) to streamline development and build processes,Good technical understanding of RESTful APIsExperience on writing high-performance, reusable code for UI components.Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum, good team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills both in English and Turkish.

Main Responsibilities

Working with System Engineers to understand/clarify requirements from the customers.Design and develop software products based on coding standards.Evaluating test results and fixing defects.Maintain learning climate by sharing best practices and performing technical talks. Working on new project/product ideas to promote further innovations.
