Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled freelancer to handle the setup and management of high-performance, secure VPS and cloud servers on platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, Vultr, GCP, and other leading cloud providers. The ideal candidate will be adept at configuring and maintaining web servers, managing domain and DNS setups, securing sites, and ensuring optimal server performance.

Responsibilities:

Server Setup and Configuration:

Set up and configure VPS and dedicated servers using Ubuntu, CentOS, and other Linux distributions.Install and configure web servers such as Apache, Nginx, and Tomcat.Optimize server performance with caching solutions like Memcached, Opcache, and Varnish.Manage control panels, including cPanel and WHM.Install and configure WordPress, other CMS platforms, and necessary software.Security and Performance:

Secure servers with SSL certificates, fail2ban, and other security measures.Ensure optimal server performance through regular monitoring and maintenance.Configure Cloudflare and other security solutions to protect against DDoS attacks.Domain and DNS Management:

Connect domain names, manage DNS records, and configure subdomains.Handle domain transfers and updates.Configure and troubleshoot email systems (GSuite, Office365, etc.).Migration and Troubleshooting:

Perform website migrations and manage backups.Troubleshoot and resolve web server, hosting, and DNS issues.Fix server errors and optimize server configurations.Requirements:

Proven experience in cloud server management and web server administration.Proficiency in server technologies including Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PHP, and MariaDB.Strong understanding of server security, optimization techniques, and performance tuning.Ability to install and configure CMS platforms like WordPress.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and customer service skills.Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in web server management.Proficiency in additional languages and frameworks such as Java, Laravel, Python, and Docker.Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience.Why Work With Us:
