API Developer

API Developer Zensar is seeking an API Developer to join our Development team provides valuable customer experience and cost savings enhancements and ensures their reliability. The successful candidate will need to have extensive experience designing, developing and maintaining APIs. API Developer – Remote Duration: 6+ months Contract Preferably Location: Colombia or Mexico Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related area4+ years of Java/J2EE development, hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience4+ years of overall experience Java/J2EE development with REST APIs, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, Swagger4+ years of RESTful and/or SOAP web services 3+ years of experience with Mulesoft ESB, Anypoint Studio, API Management and CloudHub3+ years of experience with GIT, CI/CD Automation (Octopus)Good understanding of SOA and Integration PatternsMulesoft Upgrade Experience (preferably MuleSoft 4.x) is desirableExperience with development and unit testing of Java RESTful services that integrate with internal and external client systemsExperience with Unit Testing & Performance Testing.Contact Center Experience highly desired (IE: Exposure to and Integration with Cisco CVP Applications) Other Skills:Experience with Agile developmentAbility to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and directionAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to management, team members, business and technology professionalsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentTeam playerGreat attitude
