Mobile Application Developer

Blu Omega is seeking a Mobile Application Developer for a multi-year engagement supporting our Federal client.

Responsibilities:Solve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment.Build transformative applications from vision to production-ready system.Use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.Help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, domain driven design, or n-tier.Using Java and Swift technologies and Agile life cycle development, you’ll build and sustain vital applicationsAnalyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.Qualifications:3+ years of experience as a software developer or software engineerExperience building applications for Android and/or iOS, and platform storage technologiesExperience with SwiftUI and/or Jetpack ComposeExperience with Java, JavaScript, Java Beans, JSP, JMS, J2EE, Spring boot, Hibernate, CSS, DHTML, HTML, or XMLExperience with Swagger SpecificationExperience with containerization tools Kubernetes or Docker, and APIs, including SOAP REST or RPCKnowledge of software development and user interface web applicationsKnowledge of application security and performance-oriented developmentAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsHS Diploma or GEDNice to Haves:Experience with FHIRExperience with screen/device lifecycle managementExperience with FirebaseExperience with JiraExperience with Google AnalyticsExperience with PythonExperience with AWS, IaaS, and PaaSKnowledge of 508 Compliance requirementsKnowledge of Agile frameworksBachelor's degreeSAFe Certification What Blu Omega Can Offer You:Competitive benefits including Health Insurance, 401K w/ match, Paid Time Off and more.Results driven culture that embrace our core valuesRewarding work contributing to our Nation’s mission critical programsBlu Omega is a Woman Owned Small Business Federal Technology services firm headquartered in Washington DC and supporting clients nationally.
