Senior Java Backend Developer

Overall Objective of the Role

As a Software Engineer for our Edgewise platform, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate cloud edge software and applications that help the world’s tier-1 cellular network operators with network automation and optimization.

Responsibilities

Work with a group of talented engineers providing innovative solutions to Cellular Networks problems.Design and implement complex algorithms.Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems.

Requirements

Must Have:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering.6+ years of experience in software development using Java.Strong experience in designing and implementing complex algorithms and architectures using Java.Excellent problem-solving skills.Experience working with micro-services architecture.Experience working with big data applications using advanced SQL capabilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English.

Nice to Have:

Experience building optimizations and analytics modules.Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiar with Clean Code, SOLID and high software engineering practices.Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.Experience with NoSQL and relational databases.Experience working with Vertica or other column-oriented databases.Experience with Linux and k8s.
