PHP Developer

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer - Backend to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a backend wizard with a knack for developing robust and scalable code that turns vision into reality. This role requires a strong problem-solver who can work remotely with minimal guidance and has a passion for backend development.Key Responsibilities:Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end and mobile applications.Database Management: Manage and optimize database operations, ensuring data integrity and performance.Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs into existing applications.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth application functionality.Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance skills and project outcomes.Technical Skills:PHP: Proficient in PHP and experience with the Laravel framework.Database Management: Strong knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.Version Control: Proficient with Git and version control systems.Server Management: Familiarity with server management and deployment processes.Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.UI/UX Principles: Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.Security: Understanding of web security best practices and techniques.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong portfolio of server-side applications.Extensive experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.Strong understanding of database management, including query optimization and schema design.Experience in API development and integration.Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.Familiarity with server management and deployment processes (experience in Linode is a plus).Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
