Unity Developer

ParallelDots is seeking a talented and experienced Unity Developer to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be to develop an AR application that can detect surfaces and display objects on them, utilizing advanced object detection algorithms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AR Application: Design, develop, and maintain an AR application using Unity.Surface Detection: Implement surface detection functionality to accurately identify and track surfaces within the real world.Object Display: Integrate object detection algorithms to place and display virtual objects on detected surfaces.Performance Optimization: Optimize the application for performance, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences.Collaboration: Work closely with designers, UI/UX experts, and other developers to ensure cohesive and visually appealing AR experiences.Debugging and Testing: Identify and fix bugs, and conduct thorough testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the application.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of the development process, code, and functionality for future reference and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Unity Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing AR applications.Proficiency in Unity and C#.Experience with AR frameworks such as ARCore, ARKit, or Vuforia.Strong understanding of object detection algorithms and integration.Knowledge of 3D graphics, animation, and real-time rendering.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.High level of attention to detail and a passion for creating polished, high-quality AR experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with machine learning models and their integration into AR applications.Familiarity with cloud services and APIs for extended functionality.Knowledge of UX/UI principles specific to AR applications.Experience with version control systems like Git.
