We're looking for an experienced BI Analyst/Power BI developer with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience specifically with Power BI. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in our data analysis and visualization efforts, transforming complex data into actionable insights for our organization.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the business needs for data analysis and reporting. Utilize your expertise to design and develop visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI. Ensure that the visualizations and dashboards you create are optimized for performance and can handle high concurrent user loads. The majority of your time (70%) will be spent on developing BI visualizations and refining the underlying data layer. Build and maintain data models, focusing on data integrity and accuracy to provide reliable insights. Dive deep into data analysis to uncover valuable insights and trends, offering actionable recommendations to support decision-making processes. Identify and implement effective data integration and ETL processes to streamline data consolidation from multiple sources. Provide ongoing support, training, and troubleshooting for Power BI-related queries, working closely with business teams to address their data needs. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in BI and data visualization, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our data analysis processes.
Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, with a strong focus on Power BI. Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques. Have a solid understanding of databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. Prior experience in data integration and ETL processes is essential. Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
