BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Elixir Developer for a United States Remote opportunity.

Position Title: [Elixir Developer]

Location: [United States] Remote

Job Type: Contract [FULL TIME (40 Hours a week)]

Pay Range: [$55/hr.] [$70/hr.]

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Proven experience as an Elixir Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.

Hands-on experience with AngularJS for frontend development is nice to have as it is a framework we are migrating from

Experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, management, and scaling of applications.

Proficiency in Elixir programming language and frameworks. 3+ years of experience

Strong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, etc.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Elixir

Utilize Azure services to deploy, manage, and scale applications.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.

Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems.

Document code, processes, and technical specifications to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and deliverables.
