The Job

Your main goals will be: building application models and coding the logic behind the user-facing components and the database of web apps. You will be asked to focus on the performance, usability, accessibility, and adaptability of the apps.

What You’ll Do

Integrate user-facing and server-side componentsBuild reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize app performance for speed and scalabilityImplement security and data protection measuresDesign and implement data storage solutionsReview, refactor, and maintain codebasesDeploy web apps to staging and production

What You'll Bring to the Team

You have strong experience writing scalable Django backends, working with relational databases, and building GraphQL APIs | Must-HaveYou have experience in developing apps with React/React Native/Flutter | Nice-to-haveYou have experience in matchmaking, database migration, DevOps skills. Some understanding of Edtech and machine learning | Nice-to-have You must understand async structures, race conditions, and basic RESTful APIs | Must-HaveYou have experience with end-to-end ownership of the systems you’ve built- you’ve run deployments, you’ve led incident response, and you know how to log, monitor, debug, and in general measure the reliability, and performance of the systems you ownA desire to stay up-to-date with best practices and conventionsAn Agile and Scrum mentalityTesting capabilitiesEnglish proficiency (B2)
