Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Developer at SafeLink Solutions. The Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with software development, including coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative IT solutions.

Qualifications

Strong programming and coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular or ReactKnowledge of database systems and SQLFamiliarity with version control systems such as GitUnderstanding of software development methodologies and best practicesAbility to troubleshoot and debug complex software applicationsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with cybersecurity concepts and practices is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Specific knowledge required:

Java (at least experience of Java 11)

Spring framework

Springboot

Javascript

NodeJS

RestAPI design/build

Docker containers

Problem determination (production support experience an advantage)

Effective written/spoken communications

Agile team working

Nice to have skills:

ReactJS, CSS, HTML

Kubernetes

Start date: 1/8/24 (6-month contract)
